"A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them." Liberty Hyde Bailey (Read more at https://www.brainyquote.com/topics/good-intentions-quotes)
Last January, when we set up our website and put a section for our blog, I had good intentions to update on a regular basis the "going ons" at Holstead Farms.
Although I regularly used our social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram) to give a glimpse of what we were up to and what we had available- my good intentions to write a blog, shifted towards our farm thriving through our intentional labour and effort expended on it.
Now that we have had a year under our belt, and this January is starting out more "experienced" then last January, we have the 'time' and the material to give a Year in Review. I (Farmer Amanda) have decided to be intentional to recapping our last 12 months on this blog in the following 12 weeks. Each month of 2021 will be represented Monday - Friday of 2022, sprinkled in with current "going ons" on the weekend.
Stay Tuned for our first post in this series "12 Months in 12 Weeks- Two Weeks of Isolation".
